Introduction
Hello, I AM, Nia Buckner! SN – I learned to introduce myself this way my freshman year of college at North Carolina State University & it just stuck… “I AM”.
After embarking on a spiritual journey at the end of 2019 that led me straight into a pandemic – like many— I was forced to face my current state of life… I no longer had a daily commute and dance mom duties; travel was down drastically so my 9 to 5 wasn’t as demanding; and I found myself with more time than I knew what to do with! After I got bored binge watching all the shows recommended by friends I stumbled across some YouTubers that inspired me to:
1) Learn about investing in stocks and crypto.
2) Write down, plan and begin execution of my personal goals to become an entrepreneur.
3) Own my 24 hours.

Nia Buckner Enterprises, LLC., is a black-woman owned small business based in Washington, DC area (DMV) and built on over 15 years of financial operations management and leadership experience within the private sector and Federal government agencies. We are right for small businesses looking for virtual administrative professionals to meet their end-to-end needs. Virtual mentoring services are also available to support single-mom professionals, virtual supervisors and leaders, and travel managers and agents navigating their daily lives since the pandemic.
LS Universal Travel Co., a full-service travel booking agency dedicated to helping individuals and groups (living in US only) plan memorable travel experiences and/or manage routine business trips.
N&S Recovery Solutions, a team of professionals that audit government records and help ordinary US citizens claim funds that belongs to them.
My Story
Growing up in the Washington, DC area, my mom made sure I had a strong spiritual foundation and professional resume well before I went off to college. At the young age of two, she enrolled me in my church children’s choir (and every other church youth activity on the books lol) and before I got out of elementary school she’d already setup my first personal computer with a CD-ROM where she had me using a software to learn how to type… my mom always urged me early on to “learn how” to do something. I had my first job by the age of 13 working at the District of Columbia Housing Authority and every summer after I worked in the Federal government student employee program when coming home from college.
Fast forward… I’m almost 20 years into my Federal career, 14 years as a single-mom, and a new entrepreneur. In January 2021, my passion of helping others led me to the google search bar where I keyed in “how to form an LLC in the state of MD”… a few clicks and paragraphs later, I registered my business, Nia Buckner Enterprises, LLC.
Hopefully my experiences (some that I will share on this site) navigating life as a single-mom in the DMV; raising a gifted and talented child; growing career as a leader in a Federal agency; starting and growing businesses; and most importantly serving God and others – will encourage you to keep pressing.
My vision statement: Inspire in all persons a love for Christ; themselves, their children and the world so they can live an abundant, purposeful and beautiful life.
My mission statement: To be a breath of fresh air to small business owners and single-moms through Christ-based virtual support and mentoring services.
